Tokugawa Editions is a giclée printing service tailored for illustrators, painters, and photographers. We produce giclée prints directly from your files using cutting-edge inkjet printers. High-quality giclée printing at affordable prices – delivered from Kiyosumi Shirakawa, Tokyo, to anywhere in Japan as well as all over the world.
The Shogun of Tokugawa Editions, M. Matsudaira, brings 25 years of printing expertise gained in both the UK and Japan. He has contributed to the reproduction of works for photography exhibitions, paintings, and even national treasures, both domestically and internationally. He has also served as a lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts and Tokyo Polytechnic University. With his extensive knowledge and experience, we deliver the finest quality giclée prints.

If you are not fully satisfied with our prints, we will gladly offer a reprint or a full refund. Please note that, as we print directly from your files, we cannot guarantee exact color or density matching. Damage caused by customer handling is not covered by the warranty.

SUBMISSION FILE
File Format
Please submit your files in merged TIFF / PSD / JPG / AI format (RGB format acceptable).
When submitting files in AI format, please also send us file with crop marks and a PDF/JPG file for confirmation.
Colour profile
For RGB file, please embed sRGB or Adobe RGB.
For CMYK file, please embed Japan Color 2001 Coated.
The files without embedded colour profiles will be printed with standard sRGB embedded. If you have any requests, such as AdobeRGB, please specify when placing your order.
Margin or Bleed
If margins are required, please add margins when creating your file.
For full-bleed printing, please provide files with a 3 mm bleed on all four sides.
Please note that if there is no extra bleed, the image will be cut down by about 1-2 mm.
