MOUNTING & LAMINATING

In addition to giclee printing, Tokugawa Editions also offers canvas wrapping, acrylic panel laminating and aluminium panel mounting. As we are a one-stop shop from printing to mounting/laminating, there is no risk of damage to the artwork. It also saves time and effort and is reasonably priced! You can expect a different impression from framing.

CANVAS STRETCHING

This process involves stretching a canvas giclee print onto a wooden frame.
The thickness of the wooden frame is 25 mm.
The print can be applied to the sides of the canvas, giving it a three-dimensional, dignified finish.
Due to the nature of the canvas, the corners are prone to cracking during processing.

ACRYLIC LAMINATING

Laminating an acrylic panel over a giclee print.
You can choose 3mm or 5mm thickness. (Photo: 3 mm)
This gives a sense of transparency and depth.
Due to the nature of the process, the paper is limited to Epson Semi-Gloss Paper.

ALUMINIUM MOUNTING

This is a process whereby the print is pressed onto an aluminium composite board to maintain smoothness.
The panels are 3 mm thick and available in white or black.
The wooden frame on the back allows the panels to be displayed on the wall as they are.
Please note that rubbing may be noticeable on matt paper during processing, depending on the picture pattern.
